Conductive Keratoplasty
With CK, one eye is adjusted for near vision and the other eye is adjusted for distance vision. During CK, our surgeon uses the light beams to increase the curvature of the cornea, which improves vision almost immediately.
There is no cutting of the eye with CK; CK has a very high safety record and is used on patients who are not good candidates for LASIK. The effects of CK may not be permanent; repeat treatment may be necessary in a few years.
To learn more about CK, please contact Clearview Eye and Laser Medical Center in San Diego today to schedule your initial appointment.
