CustomVue LASIK and WaveScan
CustomVue LASIK uses WaveScan® technology in order to deliver a safer and more accurate procedure. The WaveScan works by creating a map of all the imperfections in your vision so that a custom and personalized treatment plan can be developed. This map becomes your personal “eye fingerprint” as well. Before your LASIK procedure, your eye print is digitally transferred to the laser. Your eye print and “real” eye must match under the laser in order for the procedure to continue.
