Is Visine good for your eyes?

Visine "gets the red out." The problem, according to Dr. Sandy T. Feldman, is that it contains low levels of alcohol, which may worsen the cause of the redness. Additionally, it contains an agent to constrict the blood vessels, which when it wears off, just get red again.

One of the most commonly treated symptoms post laser vision correction is dry eye. ClearView Eye and Laser Medical Center is dedicated to helping patients be as educated as possible on the symptoms and treatment of this condition. We can recommend particular non preservative eye drops to be used.
