Will LASIK surgery hurt? What about as I am healing?
LASIK surgery isn’t painful. Many people say the LASIK procedure is easier than getting a cleaning at the dentist!
For a few hours after their procedure, patients may experience watery, teary eyes, as well as a foreign body sensation in the eyes. This is why Dr. Sandy T. Feldman recommends that her patients take a nap for a few hours after their procedure in order to miss any of the discomfort which might occur. After waking up from their nap, patients notice a marked improvement in vision!
