Dry eyes after LASIK surgery
After LASIK, or even PRK, a patient’s eyes can sometimes be dry. This temporary complication can be treated with lubricating eye drops.  Typically, dry eyes clear up within a few months after LASIK or PRK.  If the patient’s eyes are still dry after being treated with lubricating drops, then inserts or “plugs†can be used.Â
