Some guidelines for eye care after LASIK surgery
- After surgery, plan to go home and rest
- While showers and baths are fine after laser vision correction surgery, just avoid getting water in your eyes
- Do not rub your eyes
- Avoid going swimming, into hot tubs and gardening for a week after surgery
- Do not swim in the ocean for two weeks
- Avoid wearing make-up for about three days after surgery
- When you do start wearing makeup again, be sure to buy new mascara and eyeliner
- Don’t drive after surgery until after your first post operative appointment with Dr. Sandy T. Feldman
