Can blurry vision be helped by taking vitamin C?
Dr. Feldman prescribes the vitamin because studies have shown it reduces haze from developing on the cornea after PRK. Vision can become blurred if haze develops.
Vitamin C, as well as other vitamins and minerals, also has been found to reduce the risk or slow the progression of Age-Related Macular Degeneration. For more information on which vitamins and minerals are recommended for healthy eyes click on Clearview’s Feast Your Eyes On This page. For more information or questions on PRK, contact us.
