Can blurry vision be helped by taking vitamin C?

Dr. Feldman advises her patients to take vitamin C prior to having PRK (also known as Advanced Surface Ablation) and as they are healing.

Dr. Feldman prescribes the vitamin because studies have shown it reduces haze from developing on the cornea after PRK. Vision can become blurred if haze develops.

Vitamin C, as well as other vitamins and minerals, also has been found to reduce the risk or slow the progression of Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
