iLASIK combines the IntraLase and Advanced CustomVue procedures for a personalized, custom laser vision correction treatment. Before the iLASIK procedure is done, a WaveScan is done of the eye. A WaveScan maps the imperfections of the patient’s eye in 3-D. Once this information is review by Dr. Sandy T. Feldman a thorough surgery plan is completed.

The iLASIK procedure starts with the IntraLase treatment during which the LASIK flap is made with the IntraLase laser. The flap is gently folded back to expose the cornea of the eye. Then the Advanced CustomVue treatment is done to the cornea utilizing the WaveScan measurements. This step corrects the patient's vision.
