Is LASIK right for you?
- A patient should be at least 21 years of age with a stable prescription
- Discontinue wearing soft contact lenses for a minimum of three to fourteen days prior to surgery
- Hard or rigid type contact lenses will need to be removed so the eyes stablize before surgery, this usually takes four to six weeks
- Have no general health or eye conditions that will cause issues with the healing process
