iLASIK, a Personalized Laser Vision Correction Procedure in San Diego
Using the Wavescan wavefront system, a 3-D digital map is generated of the patient’s cornea. This unique map of the eye is like a fingerprint and is used to precisely guide the laser during the vision correction procedure. Before the lasik procedure begins, the IntraLase laser is used to create a corneal flap. Then the Advanced CustomVue procedure is done to gently reshape the cornea for clean crisp vision.
