After your laser vision correction procedure, you are given an after-care kit that includes a list of precautions and instructions to follow as your eyes heal. The ClearView Eye and Laser Medical team will review the instructions with you. This is to ensure you understand how to care for your eyes after having either LASIK or PRK. In addition to using the prescribed medicated eye drops as you are healing, there are certain eye-care rules to follow. They include, but are not limited to, wearing eye goggles while you sleep and attending all your post-up appointments.

In order to protect your eyes while you sleep, eye goggles should be worn for one to two weeks after your procedure. The goggles help to prevent any eye injuries and help the eye heal properly. Dr. Sandy T. Feldman requires that you return to the ClearView office for scheduled check-ups after your LASIK or PRK procedure. During these appointments, your eyes are checked to ensure they are healing correctly with no side effects or complications. Dr. Feldman and her team will thoroughly review all post-operative instructions with you both before and after your procedure.
