PRK or Advanced Surface Ablation, another Laser Vision Correction Option in San Diego
During the ASA procedure, a laser is used to carefully reshape the cornea directly on the surface of the eye. This differs from the LASIK procedure where a corneal flap is created prior to the laser treatment. ASA is often recommended for patients who have corneas that are too thin for LASIK.
