Botox® is the product name for a form of the botulinum toxin. The FDA approved it in April 2002 for treating frown lines.
How Botox works
Botox® is a muscle-relaxing agent for therapeutic use. Injections of Botox® block nerve impulses in the area of the injection for a few months. That prevents the muscles in that area from contracting. Since they don't contract, they don't form any wrinkles in the skin that covers them.
The effect of this is smoother skin. |

Everyone exudes confidence and that sure made me feel at ease. A terrific experience and great outcome too.
