"I Left My Heart in San Diego"
Valentine's Day Gift to the City
WHO:
Ophthalmologist Dr. Sandy T. Feldman has left her heart in San Diego, literally. Imported red Murano glass hearts have been hidden in the three most romantic spots in San Diego, attached to each is Dr. Feldman’s special Valentine for the city she loves ---- a gift letter which entitles the bearer to redeem two box tickets to a 2008 Padres baseball game.
WHY:
This year I wanted to do something special and a little different. I have lived and practiced in San Diego for the past 22 years and think this is the best city in the world. I just wanted to do something to give back especially after October 2007 – what a year,” said Dr. Feldman.
WHERE:
Clues to the hidden Padre tickets are on Dr. Feldman’s website. The Red Murano Hearts are hidden in three different locations throughout San Diego. The locations were Dr. Feldman’s pick for the most romantic spots in San Diego.
BACKGROUND:
Valentine’s Day is a very special day for Ophthalmologists, because not only are the eyes the window to the soul it’s also the key to the heart. According to Dr. Feldman “This Valentine’s Day if you really want to know if the one you’re with really loves you – just look in their eyes. It’s scientifically proven that the pupil will enlarge if someone is attracted to another person. So when your loved one says “I love you” look into their eyes to really know.
