I'm a full-time student and I'm working towards a career in the fire service. So being able to see and not have to worry about contacts or glasses is important to me. I could barely read a street sign down the road and now just after the surgery I could see everything. And just that fast it is 20/15 now and it's pretty incredible. For me I wear contacts and I was going to have to wear contacts and those cost every few months. You are paying for something you put in your eye everyday, so for the next 25 years you're going to be paying for something anyways. That was one of the reasons, and for me it was a hassle. I just didn't want to deal with it and that was worth the cost. My contacts popped out every time I swam so I always had to take them out and now I don't even have to worry about it. This summer is going to be much better for me because swimming in San Diego's oceans is something I look forward to doing.
