Dr. Mathison is an expert in advanced vision correction and his areas of expertise include LASIK, PRK, cataract surgery and implantable contact lenses (ICL). Being a native of Southern California, Dr. Mathison received his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where he found his love for medicine while working as an EMT. After that, he went to Washington University for his medical degree and did his ophthalmology residency at UCLA.
Leveraging his expertise in medical devices and state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Mathison is enthusiastic about offering his patients the latest surgical solutions. His dedication to innovation is the main reason why our patients achieve the best results in vision correction.
